Welcome to Teen Summer at the Westbank Libraries!
We'll have all sorts of things just for teens at each of our libraries this summer. Want a quick Calendar?
We've got four (yes 4!) groups of activities coming your way:
All of these events are from 6:00-7:45, some at the Westbank, some at Laura's Library. We want everyone to have a good time so we're limiting each one to 24 teens. So, yes, you'll need to register for these. Registration for each event will open on the Wednesday before at 10:00. You'll be able to tell when registration opens because the links on each event will go live and take you to the right form.
We're excited about these and hope you are too! Alice Hebert, 6th grade writing teacher at West Ridge, will conduct a session on creative writing. Smart lady, she'll be speaking on writing about the outdoors and the importance of daily journaling. You'll even get to take home an Ideas and Tips Page and a writing booklet.
These will be held on Mondays from 3-4 and no, you don't have to register ahead of time. Just come on along!
Travel the world learning about artists. Talk, read, and create your own inspired masterpiece!
These adventures in art will be held on Wednesdays @ Westbank from 6:30-7:45 and are limited to 10 kids. Don't be late!
An entire evening's worth of fun at the Library! So much fun, we only have room for 12, ages 12 and up. So you'll need to register- and fast! Pick up a form at the Reference Desk of either library or download it starting May 29th. Return it to the Reference Desk at the Westbank or at Laura's Library by Thursday, June 17th at 6:00.
@ the Westbank on Friday, June 25th from 6:30 to 10:30
