Tribute to Waldo the Library Dog

It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the passing of our most beloved reading dog, Waldo.

Waldo absolutely loved the time he was able to spend listening to our library's children read stories to him. We know so many children have loved our sweet library pup, so please feel free to send us pictures or stories of Waldo by emailing Kristi; we will share your memories with our community.

For resources about grieving the loss of a pet, visit our list books your children may want as they mourn for our dear Waldo.

If you would like to continue Waldo's legacy of supporting children's literacy, visit Divine Canines online for information about reading dogs & other therapy dogs.

Though your children will no longer have the pleasure of reading with Waldo, the library will continue its partnership with Divine Canines.
